BLADE Back-Up Car
When you book a BLADE Airport flight, we can get you to or from JFK or Newark whether by helicopter or with our new BLADE Back-Up Car
In the event the weather conditions are not suitable for flying, a BLADE Back-Up Car can drive you to your airport terminal or back into the city.
We will also coordinate your ground transfer and arrange the car at your pickup location.
The cost of the BLADE Back-Up Car is applied against your BLADE Airport flight credit. Pricing is generally consistent with Uber Black at the time, and your credits can be applied toward the cost of the ride. Pickups must be within the five boroughs.
When you book your flight, you enter the address where you want to be picked up. If your plans change, you can update your pickup location or cancel free of charge any time before the car is dispatched. If you cancel after the Back-Up Car is en route, a $25 fee may apply.
Depending on availability, BLADE may use a third-party car service, and our team monitors each ride from start to finish.
The Back-Up Car gives you another way to get where you need to be when weather or traffic gets in the way.
